Rejoicing in Peace.
I have wanted to write her a letter for at least 20 years and never did so. I plan on catching up with one of my favorite authors someday, hopefully over a cup of tea and [not] a cream-cheese and liverwurst sandwich (gross, Charles Wallace!). Have fun, Madeleine, as you surely are now seeing yourself some cherubim.

Oh my goodness, I didn't know. She brought so much joy! At least to our family. I hope the Mrs. Whatsits greeted her with open arms. Amazing lady! Dang. She and Pavarotti, in one week.
