Ah, Saturdays.
I was online searching out perfect scones, and found a great little post or two in addition to Ina Garten's favorite recipes, which I've loved. But after snooping around a bit I found this giant wave of foodie-hate against a Food Network celebrity chef that I would've never expected. Here, here, here, and many more as well, all in varying levels of mere distaste to profanity-laden loathing. I waffled between snickering, guffawing, and open-mouthed horror at people's reactions to her. The price to pay for fame: the chance of being loved unconditionally by folks who know nothing about you, or being hated unconditionally by folks who know nothing about you.
And I thought the political race was dirty.
