We've been fortunate enough to have dinner with friends quite a lot in the last few weeks, and all of it has been such a treat: good company, lots of interesting conversation, laughs, games, good wine and food... there's nothing like friends to lift one out of a dreary gloom, or to help distract or comfort when one is beset with worries and fretting and general malaise. I was just reminiscing with a pen and out came the menu of last night's good times with Jimmy. He's a delight anytime, but yesterday was just perfect timing. We always feel honored when we're lucky enough to be around his quick wit, ready smile, agile brain, talented cooking, musical prowess, and giant heart; and that's not even mentioning his mad wine skills.
So, thanks Jimmy, for dinner and for being you!
