August memories.
It must've been four years ago this month that we took a trip to New Mexico with some dear friends to escape the heat and camp in the Red River area. We ended up in Santa Fe for long-awaited showers and mattresses, some rafting on the Rio Grande, tons of great New Mexican food, and touristy stuff. I could write reams about the fun we had on this trip, but there is one little memory that always cracks me up for its sheer surreality. We were ending our time with a little music in the Square festival, and it was packed with folks enjoying the perfect evening air and live music and dancing and drinks. One person in particular was enjoying the drinks. Sadly, I don't have the video here but stills will have to do. Brent Snader, wherever you might've stowed away the footage, feel free to send it to me. I promise to update this entry.
Hats off to you, Mr Michelob, wherever you are, for giving us an evening to remember. I bet you nursed that hangover for a long, long time.

I was so taken with Uncle Randy in the pictures that I nearly missed ole' Michelob pole dancing off to the side! Those were indeed good times!
I've charged Brent with converting all of our home movie tapes to DVD before we leave.....we'll see where it falls on the priority list.
:)
At least we have photos of that fateful day! (Thanks to Brent!)
I always love a good "Michelob" reminder! Woo- good times indeed. Though I think he was the one having the truly good times!!
true indeed, jennifer... sadly, he doesn't remember it all.
