Illustration in Progress

I came across this great little demo of a portrait in progress by artist Mark Behm. I've often wanted to watch over another illustrator's shoulder as they work (or record my own process to show a friend) and this is the next best thing to it! He makes it look so good and so easy that you just might think anyone could do it! Sadly, most people do think that way...I guess because they don't see the hours of fruitless labor and piles of trashed drawings, only the finished product.

I've made a new little linklist of illustrators I come across on the side of the blog. It's a wacky combination of inspiration and dejection as I browse their stuff. Hope you just feel the amazement.
