This year I've decided to say to heck with being afraid and not knowing how to do it, I am going to try quilting. I found a sweet easy pattern in this great book and adapted it to the fabric I have on hand. Thanks to Sharon for taking me to that hit-or-miss find-among-finds fabric shop Sir's, in Fayetteville, TN. Wow. A trip there is a trip back in time! Such a cute town square, and lovely countryside along the way. Always a fun time with the Urban Hen.
Here's some snaps as I go along and try to be the old lady that I've felt myself to be since I was nine.
Will take advice from any quilters out there. I so don't know what I am doing... but it's been a blast so far!
