I don't have these particular Christmas albums, but I think the artwork is adorable. (Anyone know who illustrated? I don't.) Lots swimming in my head regarding Advent this year, but our laptop had a monitor issue and I have to sneak in to use the Internets here in the office. Which involves me being a little restricted but in my situation, that is a good thing. A little Advent-time fast. I hope you out there are finding meaning in our busy Christmas shopping/partying/over-indulging season. Leave me a note if there's something especially sweet to you this year.

It is absolutely obvious to everyone around me that the "especially sweet" thing about Advent this year is the gift I am still celebrating from August 22. Miss Erica was just a tiny unknown dot in my tummy this time last year, we would be finding out in just about two weeks if she would be growing from a tinier dot. I can relate in some ways to Mary now that I'm a mommy, but really the main thing is that I am trying to learn about parenting from God the Father, who makes plans for us through it all without us even knowing it and they are perfect plans, just as he promised. I enjoy your posts as reminders about Advent.
Thanks to you, I am moving down the right path (the Canterbury Trail)! Davey and I are driving to TX and I enjoyed these drawings--I've also been reading one of our St. B's purchases this afternoon--can't wait to discuss more. Love love.
I just read an article about sufjan in the most recent paste and I think You could look into The Welcome Wagon and Monique and Vito Aiuto. She could have possibly illustratred. Remind me and I can show you the article. Merry Christmas.
