Wasn't it magnificent?

The full Moon was amazing Friday night...the biggest and closest since 1993, this article says...I wish I could've taken a photo, but it looked kind of like the above pic but about a zillion times bigger. NASA's website has a great informative article about apogee and perigee, and just why the Moon looks so much bigger as it first rises, just in case you ever wanted to know.
We almost ran off I-440 looking at it, reflecting off the remnants of Thursday night's snow. Gorgeous! Did y'all take any photos of it?

I thought of you when we drove through Dallas at sunset on Friday. The sky was deep blue w/ alot of pinks near the horizon, then there was the biggest old (daytime) moon I've seen in years! Now I understand it a bit better!
