I'm posting it here, because I hate to do that work for just Facebook.
1. I have a strange obsession with smells and noises, and can't learn to ignore any that drive me crazy. Not a big problem at home, where I can control that, but that means in public I just quietly go insane because of them.
2. Picking out my coffee cup every morning is a continual daily joy of mine.
3. I've always loved British accents, humor, culture, history, and tea.
4. Drag queens have always fascinated me. (This does not particularly relate to the above point, but then again, it might.)
5. I'm an obsessive doodler, and fixate on finding the absolute smoothest-inked, tiny point sized pens. Always black. Unless they're not. But always fine point. Unless they're not.
6. Giant egos, loud-talking, and foolish attention-getting behavior is loathsome to me, especially when I exhibit those characteristics.
7. I'm always mentally correcting misspelled words, punctuation, and grammar mistakes.
8. Being an identical twin is so normal to me that I can't imagine life without her. If we go too long without communication I start to feel like I'm not myself and get weirded out. She is the only person I can talk to on the phone and not be thinking I need to hang up.
9. I don't like talking on the phone. (It's not you, it's me.)
10. I try to never take for granted our society's technological and mechanical advances; every day I wonder, "How could I have accomplished _____________ if I had lived 100, 150, 200, or 1000 years ago?" So I'm mentally always planning how to survive a freeze, a dead car battery, Y2K, or a nuclear war. Boiling hot water, on tap and readily available is one of my all-time favorite technological advances.
11. I constantly worry about things I have absolutely no way of changing (um, see above), and constantly compare myself to everyone on the planet.
12. The stupidest things have the power to make me laugh uncontrollably. I love to laugh uncontrollably.
13. We had so many wonderful camping trips growing up that there's no way to count them all. I try to add to that list every year, and we've been successful so far. Some of my happiest memories involve those family trips in the West.
14. I'm embarrassed that I was such a nerd in my childhood, and realize that I've not really changed that much. I've dreamed of going back in time to shake that little doofus that was me, and to beat some sense into her.
15. I used to read encyclopedias and dictionaries for fun. Now I can Wiki all day, every day!
16. The kitchen is the only place where I don't feel incompetent. I will try to earn people's love by cooking and baking.
17. I love to travel and learn other languages, and would take vocabulary and spelling tests all day long. I want to go to France just for the cheese and the wine and to pick up that accent. I would go anywhere, just to go.
18. I've realized that fear is debilitating, prayer is something you can learn, and that it's absolutely necessary to pray to overcome fear. And that if you ask God to help you, He will...even if it doesn't come in the form of the help that you expect.
19. I hate to drink water. I absolutely LOVE shoes.
20. Politics, debate of any kind, accounting, advanced mathematics, marathoning, and passionate picketing for causes baffle me.
21. I love getting lost in libraries and museums.
22. I don't like people in general but adore my friends to a fault.
23. I love that my husband and I can be stupid together, and it be fun. That he not only doesn't think less of me for it, but joins in and, oftentimes, surpasses me!
24. My whole family is obsessed with following the weather. I think it was growing up in West Texas, where you could always see it coming, and there was usually something coming.
25. I always look for the Moon.
